If I had had breakfast in Queens I would have made it to all five boroughs. I started and ended the day at 207 Avenue A in Manhattan’s East Village.
The first meeting for our Built NYC project, the Staten Island Sports Hall of Fame display cases at the Ocean Breeze Athletic facility took us out to Staten Island. Here is the group in front of the impressive new building where our display cases will go. From Left to right, Lou Bergonzi from the Hall of Fame, Dora, Victoria and Xenia from Built NYC and Jonathan Sabutis who works at HAD.
On the way home Jon and I stopped in Red Hook Brooklyn for lunch at Fort Defiance and to buy some cabinets at Ikea.
Finally, I closed the day at the beautiful Bronx Botanical Garden. No pics this year of the wonderful Plant Sale and Garden Antiques Show benefit hosted by Adam Rose and Peter McQuillan, but I did snap this twilight shot of the Conservatory.
NYC delivered again, but my piggies were tired after all that hoofing around.
