After having finished a ripe summer peach, how can one not marvel at the beauty of the pit inside. The complex form and hopeful symbolism compelled Harry to save a few.
Eventually he scanned one and used the form to create this lidded vessel. Scaled up, the form is mesmerizing. Glazed inside and out it can be used to store anything. It is also just a beautiful sculptural object for display in the home.
Please note the Peach Pit Vessel has no handle and thus the lid is a little bit difficult to grab and lift. It is not an ergonomic piece of design, but we didn’t want to interrupt its naturally elegant form.
