Our stoneware Ball and Burlap planter takes its form and texture from a horticultural technique. When moving trees and shrubs the root ball is often wrapped in burlap and twine — It’s called ball and burlapping. We thought the aesthetic would make a nice hanging planter.
The Ball and Burlap planter is not a new idea. It was originally conceived in 2018 for Areaware but as with many good things, it took some time to bring it to life.
Planters come in unglazed stoneware and our signature Light Green. Each planter is completed with a string harness. Planters hang 36″ from the ceiling, or sit on the tabletop.
