Harry Allen Design’s chair for Council, LAT, had its debut at ICFF 2014 in New York. The chair gets its name from the lateral plane that divides the human body in half. The split backrest eliminates pressure on the spine and supports the body with a comfort that belies its rectilinear form. LAT is a side chair for the 21st Century; a new design vision achieved through timeless woodworking techniques. Equally at home in the board room and dining room, LAT is offered in solid walnut and ash and the upholstered seat accepts almost any materials.
