This unique ‘Harry’ TeeLamp is made from two fine white cotton T-shirts, hardened with resin. It is the first of a series of text Tees that we would like to make.
The text was written by our copywriter friend, Fayette Hickox. It was originally written for a table cloth project Harry was working on. Please read it. We think it is beautiful. Fayette puts into words how difficult it is to remember people from our pasts. We think it is an apt piece of writing for this project, where the lamp takes the form of a person, but the person is absent. Teelamps have been likened to ghosts and Fayette’s text speaks to the same ideas — ghosts of one’s past.
TeeLamps come with a 12′ length of white or black fabric cord and a black or white canopy for hardwire. However, we can customize with almost any color/length/configuration cord. Please specify cord/canopy color in ‘Order Notes’ in checkout. If you want custom cord/canopy please let us know and we will reach out with timing and pricing.
A professional electrician should be used for hanging.
Every TeeLamp is unique and made by hand and they all have variations that come with the unique process by which they are made. The overall affect is wonderful, but they may have imperfections, as most unique pieces of art and design do. Please study images and each out with questions.
