This is a NYC classic. Originally glass, these hex knobs werein fashion for many years. They were used to add a touch ofsparkle to basic apartments. In fact, the sample I cast is frommy apartment in the East Village. A knob on a mug? We knowits not traditional, but thought it might be fun, and it works quitewell. If you want a knob but worry about it functionally I mightsuggest staying away from the larger, rounder knobs like thisand getting a #2, #4, or #5. These are oblong and work very wellin the hand.
